SHIPPING GUIDE

A better quote starts with the right cargo details.

A practical checklist to help your team and your freight partner plan the next shipment.

Describe the goods clearly

Start with product names, the intended quantities and whether the goods are new or used. Share supplier links or photographs when they help explain the order. Mention items that may need special handling, such as fragile products, liquids or goods containing batteries, before arranging collection.

Gather weight and dimensions

Ask your supplier for the packed gross weight, carton count and external dimensions of each package. Product weight alone does not describe the shipment. If packing is not complete, clearly label the figures as estimates and share final measurements when available.

Identify both ends of the journey

Include the collection city in China and the destination country and city. Explain whether you need collection from a supplier, consolidation from several suppliers or delivery to a particular address. Tell the team if access or unloading needs special arrangements.

Explain your priorities

Share your preferred arrival window and whether timing or shipment size is the main consideration. Ask which services the quotation covers and which details still need confirmation. This helps everyone work from the same understanding before booking.
